Key Account Manager Retail (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager Retail (m/f/d)  across the region of South Germany.

Purpose of the position

In order to support and drive growth and keep cost under control it is about to secure the most efficient processes and procedures enabling PAKi to collect exchangeable load carriers to make them available to customers. This involves 4 key dimensions:

  • Retail as a Loading Point (RaaLP)
    • Protect and leverage the collection of load carriers in FTL at existing Retail DC
    • Win new Retail DC as a loading point.
  • Retail as a Supplier (RaaS)
    • Develop and implement a commercial program in which Retailers are paid for services they deliver to PAKi.
    • Establish support and control processes and procedures
  • Retail as a Customer (RaaC)
    • Generate revenue whilst rising barrier of entry for competition
  • Develop new Retail Channels
    • Take the lead in investigating in new Retail Channels
    • Specialized Retail supply chains, i.e. pet shop, organic food, DIY, e-Commerce

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is a customer-focused person and has great relationship building skills, those of which include reliability, motivation and strong communication skills.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

  • To act as the key contact to assigned customers
  • To agreed, lead and implement programs with assigned Retailers
  • To establish first class relationship with all decision makers and influencers within assigned customers
  • To pro-actively identify opportunities corresponding with the key tasks/dimensions
  • To provide regular reporting to the line manager
  • To interact with the internal customers / stakeholders
  • To manage revenue and cost related to the assigned responsibility
  • To deliver budget and margin commitments
  • To agree, implement and control joint action plans mutually agreed with customers and the Retail team

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years post graduate B2B experience ideally in a commercial role
  • Excellent knowledge of the Retail land scape and Supply Chain
  • Proven track record in establishing sustainable and profitable business with Retailers
  • Proven track record in working successfully in a highly results-oriented and performance –driven environment with a focus on customer centricity
  • Proven ability to effectively build relationships at all levels in a Retail organization
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Experience of working effectively and collaboratively in a matrix organization
  • Passion for success, energy and resilience
  • Outstanding personal influencing, negotiation and selling skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, change agile
  • Mobile (50% travel)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Experience with Microsoft packages and Laptop
